I made this as more of an experiment than anything. I found out that some people paint in monochrome (so that they can easily get the right tones) then add colour on top. This interested me because I'm awful at colour theory.
When a friend asked me to mess about with a photo he took of himself I used it as an excuse to attempt the technique. |
